Link baiting is a way to entice others to link to your site based on its content. Sure, it is easy to I-mail many web masters and ask to be linked to their sites and to link them to yours, but doing so requires a good deal of time and research. This is not to discourage you from using this method to increase business, but there is a much easier way.
By placing content on your site that is designed to attract attention from your target market or audience, you will be able to see results quickly. By baiting others with articles and tidbits of interest, you will be able to acquire more hits and your site can become an important point of reference.
